Karrusel Festival 2024 gets a new 4th stage- Arkaden (The Arcade).
Karrusel Festival today announced a new 4th stage, which will debut at this year’s festival edition. The scene is called Arkaden (The Arcade), and is presented in collaboration with Red Bull and is created on a radio car floor with retro lights in the ceiling, smoke machines and a four-point sound system suitable for UK garage, Jungle, Amapiano, Baile Funk and Breakbeats. The stage will also be surrounded by Arcade gaming machines where, you can enjoy ice-cold Red Bull cocktails.
Karrusel returns for the 5th time with the last big 3-day party of the festival season in Denmark. The festival creates a rave universe with sci fi vintage circus and can now add another amusement, Arkaden.
From the DJ desk located in the middle of the floor plays the new great hope PAYDAR, who has just played at O days and had a great debut set at Roskilde Festival 2024. The adventurous and energetic DJ and producer delivers a hybrid set with futuristic nostalgia with a visit from Rap, Persian Pop, African Amapiano, Arabic House and Brazilian Baile Funk. She plays on Thursday 22 August, where Australian Pretty Girl and German Ben Böhmers are headliners, for Karrusel’s 2024 opening day.
The talented DJ N.E.GIRL, who is also a significant cultural entrepreneur on the Copenhagen scene, experiments and explores the boundaries with her bass-driven, multi-genre-based sets. She plays at Arkaden on Friday 23 August. On the same day, French Anetha plays heavy techno at Manegen, TikTok sensation HorsegiirL gallops in with his happy hardcore and futuristic pop, and German Marlon Hoffstadt plays uppitched house, hard house and euro fast pace.

A total of 12 new Danish artists will be announced at Arkaden: Thursday 22 August Jolie, Tjiquita, Paydar and HARTY will play. Friday 23 August DJ Lukey, Gavnlig, DJ Nap and N.E. Girl, and on Saturday 24 August Øre Snu, RMZ, FIA and B From E will play, where also Palestinian Sama! Abdulhadi plays the closing set on the festival’s main stage Manegen under the treetops on Refshaleøen.
