Fuchsbau Festival has published the full program for its 2017 edition
In its sixth year, the Fuchsbau Festival dedicates itself to contemporary questions, formats, artistic works, music and adventure. From graphic art performances to electronic music and progressive pop, the festival strives to be boundary-transcending through innovative and bold dimensions.
Fuchsbau encompasses more than just the ordinary sense of the word festival. Finalizing its line-up with Nadia Tehran, der Ringer and panels on post-humanism, the event will take over an old factory close to Hannover, Lehrte, for a weekend full of arts, music and panels during the period of August 11 – 13.
Acts like Laurel Halo, Efdemin, Lea Porcelain, Job Jobse and r’n’b sensation Ace Tee are joining their forces together with international and local highlights. Iranian rapper Nadia Tehran, drone duo 9T Antiope, der Ringer and electronic pioneer Felix Kubin are all set to play at Fuchsbau. South African queer Hip Hop crew Umlilo & STASH will perform their politically infused show on Friday night.
Additionally, what Fuchsbau festival also announces, are technical enhancement of our bodies and on digital capitalism panels:
“How capitalism fucked us all in 2017 and how it didn’t even pay for our Uber home afterwards.”
One of the highlight of the visual arts program is the Turkish iconic artist Pinar Yoldas.
