Culture Box 15th birthday weekend with Mall Grab and George Fitzgerald
Culture Box 15th birthday weekend is near us and it’s all about celebrations. To honor its 15th birthday and do it in style, Culture Box club has put together two stellar nights compiled of local and international talents and headliners Mall Grab and George Fitzgerald.
Culture Box opened its doors for the first time back in 2005, and is one of the most prominent venues for electronic music in Denmark and Scandinavia. For 15 years now the club continuously delivers quality line-ups with some of the best international and local artists on the electronic music scene. The club has seen many memorable nights with the likes of Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, DVS1, Fatboy Slim, Mark Knight, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Nick Warren, John Digweed and many many more. But apart from bringing international acts, Culture Box is also known for being a vivid supporter of the local artists and giving stage to many in their early music years such as Kölsch, Denis Horvat, Kasper Bjørke and more.
Culture Box’s birthday celebrations begin on Friday when the club welcomes back Mall Grab, who will headline the night and will be taking over the Black Box room, while Anastasia Kristensen and DeeJay SHAQ will take care of the warm up and closing sets. In the Red Box room resident DJ and co-owner Tim Andresen will be joined by resident DJ Aja Gulris, and local duo Baime. To warm up for the night head to Culture Box’s bar – BOX 54, where Jim Lee and DJ Crizzy will play until midnight.

The birthday celebrations continue on Saturday when Culture Box welcomes back another amazing artist based in the UK – George Fitzgerald (DJ set). Kasper Bjørke and DJ Ian Bang will open and close the Black Box room. In the Red Box room Martinez will be joined by Kajsa Lindström and Adelina. Culture Box’s bar – BOX 54, will once again be open before the official club night, where DJ Nanda will play until midnight.
