Audio Obscura pres Maceo Plex x Rijksmuseum ADE 2016
ADE is fast approaching and the newest party location was revealed yesterday by the party promoter Audio Obscura. The event will take place at the Rijksmuseum (the Netherland’s national museum for arts and history), where Maceo Plex will play a four-hour set.
This is the first time in its history when the Rijksmuseum will collaborate on a project revolving electronic music. The museum itself aims to inspire the visitors by delivering an artform in a new and memorable way. The event is initiated by Audio Obscura and its purpose is to connect artists and musicians with historical locations.
The event is scheduled for Friday the 21st of October from 7pm. The exact location will be underneath the Rembrandt van Rijn’s iconic ‘Night Watch’, which is considered as one of the most prominent paintings by a Dutch artist. The entry for the event will be limited and in order to get a hold of a ticket, you will first have to register at Audio Obscura’s Facebook page.
