Is Croatia the new Ibiza? It has indeed become one of the top party destinations in Europe and the World. And one of the most famous festivals taking place on Croatian Mediterranean is Hideout Festival. A festival, which has been a top choice for many clubbers and festival goers since 2010. Taking place annually on the astonishing Zrce Beach, island of Pag. A landscape many festivals could only dream of. Breathtaking mountains, intimate beaches and the endless crystal blue Adriatic sea. This summer, Hideout Festival celebrates its 5th birthday and it is prepared to do it better than ever.
The Hideout Festival gained substantial recognition when the UK based newspaper The Guardian, added the festival on their List of Best Festivals back in 2011. The festival was organized for the first time in 2010, and every year attracts more and more visitors. Although the demand is high and the tickets sell-out half a year before the actual event, the organizers do not wish to expand the capacity in order to preserve the intimacy and privacy of the festival.
Like many of the other Croatian festivals, there is a true hedonistic spirit running deep through the heart of Hideout Festival. This is expressed in its musical policy, which stands firmly on the Electronic side of the dance-floor, cutting shapes and shuffling its way insidiously into the ears of the attendees to create a contagious party atmosphere. From pool-side locations through to beach and boat parties, this is a non-stop groove across the spectrum of Electronic music.
Hideout Festival has quickly a gained for playing the finest House, Deep House and Techno. Going for a mixture of electronic music styles, the Hideout Festival has held memorable parties with DJ’s from the D’n’B scene Andy C, Chase and Status, Pendulum, Netsky, Shy FX, to the Kings of Techno Dixon, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, and a swift turn to Garage and Deep House duos Bondax, Disclosure, Dusky and Gorgon City.
